Walking along beside a creek towards a waterfall, I happened upon a single Southern Pinfly damselfly. Just as I was about to take a photo another came along and they immediately paired up and flew away.

I found myself chasing this almost invisible pair along the creek until they stopped at a suitable piece of vegetation and the female began to lay her eggs.
